DESCRIPTION: BOYSEN® Matte Shield™ is an acrylic, water- based clear matte coating ideally used as a topcoat over any paint finish that needs protection from common household stains. It is particularly useful in maintaining the clean and elegant look of specialty decorative finishes like DECORe™ Classic. This low-odor formulation is designed to provide excellent abrasion resistance ideal for protecting painted surfaces indoors.

PRINCIPAL USES: Designed as a protective clear matte topcoat for interior paints including BOYSEN® DECORe™ Classic.

SERVICE CONDITIONS: Wipe off stains using a soft cloth, mild soap and water while applying moderate pressure. Do not use abrasive cleansers as these may damage paint film.

FINISH: Matte

DRY TIME:
Touch: 1 hour
Recoat: 2 hours

THEORETICAL COVERAGE PER 4-LITERS: 30 - 35 sq. m.
*Depending on surface texture and porosity

TINTING: Not applicable

THINNING SOLVENT: Use as supplied. If necessary, thin with not more than ½ Liter of clean water per 4-Liter can.

CLEAN-UP SOLVENT: Water

PACKAGING: 4-Liters

APPLICATION: By brush, roller, or airless spray

PAINTING SCHEDULE:
(After application of the BOYSEN® DECORe™ Classic paint system or other latex paint systems)

Apply at least 2 coats of BOYSEN® Matte Shield™ B-4600. Resulting finish completely cures after 7 days reaching full stain resistance.
